MY POLICIES
By engaging with Deborah Hanock Photography, you enter into a service agreement for the provision of photography services. The terms of the agreement will be discussed and agreed upon during the booking process.
Headshot Sessions
Booking your photo shoot requires a non-refundable retainer in the amount of $200 per person. This amount will be applied to your balance. Your balance is to be paid by the end of the photo shoot in full. I do accept cash, Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. There is a 3% surcharge when using credit cards through PayPal. Cancellations made within a 72 hour period may result in additional charges, detailed in the booking agreement.
Full Production Photoshoots
Booking your project and locking in the date/dates will require a nonrefundable deposit in the amount of the project fees and 100% of out of pocket expenses may consist of... Location Fees, Prop and Set Design, Equipment Rentals, Talent and Model Fees, Styling and Wardrobe, Transportation, Permits and Insurance, Post Production Expenses.
These expenses can vary depending on the specific needs and scale of you project. It's essential to have a comprehensive budget and consider potential costs to ensure a smooth and successful production.
BOOKING
Headshot Sessions
If you have the need to cancel your headshot session and reschedule, I will allow a one time date change for your shoot as long as there is a 72 hour notice. Any cancellations made within a 72 hour period may result in loss of retainer paid at the time of the booking.
Full Production Photoshoots
Cancellation of your production when preproduction is in process may be a loss to your deposit and may include additional fees to compensate the production team for the work that has already been put into planning, organizing, potentially securing equipment or locations for the shoot and for any other loss of work for crew. If you find yourself in a situation where you need to move the date for you shoot, it's best to discuss that me so we can find a mutually beneficial solution.
CANCELLATION
Post Production
Post production takes time, I will sort through all images and the best will be pulled and processed for your viewing. You will receive a viewing file for you to select your favorites. Depending on the size of the job, processing can take up to 5-10 business days for delivery.
Photo Retouching
Retouching is a separate fee. Once you have determined your final selection, I will send you a request for the retouching fees. All retouching fees need to be paid in full prior to retouching getting started. Headshot retouching, the turnaround will be determined at the time the order is placed. Bigger productions may take a few weeks depending on the project. Time will be discussed once final selects have been made. Once you have received your finished images my suggestion is for you download them at your earliest convenience.
POST PRODUCTION & DELIVERY
* I am a big believer in customer satisfaction and even though I have never been asked I do need to mention that I do not give refunds after any photoshoot. I am open to address any concerns and will explore alternative solutions to ensure your satisfaction.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All photographs taken by Deborah Hanock Photography are the intellectual property of Deborah Hanock. Clients are granted a license to use the photographs for personal or business purposes but may not resell or distribute the images without explicit permission.

LIABILITY
While every effort is made to ensure a successful photography session, Deborah Hanock Photography is not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen events.
